A great way to learn different skills and experiment with different materials and mediums. Week 1 - Drawing During the afternoon they will learn a variety of different methods and techniques to help them draw the image of their choice which is guaranteed to impress their family and friends! Week 2 - Watercolour Painting Throughout the afternoon we will experiment with Watercolour creating different effects using a variety of materials. We will explore using salt, masking fluid, bleach (under supervision) brusho and look at the process of wet on wet. An exciting afternoon creating a variety of different effects with the Watercolour. Week 3 - Collagraph Printing Collagraph is a basic a method of printmaking. We will spend the afternoon exploring the surrounding area and take elements of the outdoors to create an image. A fantastic process which achieves brilliant results. (Please note: during this session you will only create the print. We will have to leave time to allow the image to dry and print it during the Lino Printing Session the following week. Week 4 - Lino Printing Our very popular Lino Printing session where you will be able to make a basic lino print reduction and I will teach you how to use all the tools effectively to create your own image on to the lino. Week 5 - Landscape Painting En Plein Air Painting! Working on the balcony with an easel I will support you with creating your landscape painting of the beautiful Cheshire countryside!
